Have you ever felt stuck, like your heart has grown cold or hardened? Ezekiel 36:26 offers us a promise that speaks to this very feeling.

The verse says, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." What a powerful image—a heart of stone replaced by a heart of flesh, alive, tender, and open.

A heart of stone is unyielding, resistant to love, and often weighed down by pain or fear. But a heart of flesh? It’s soft, responsive, and ready to embrace love and kindness. This transformation isn’t something we can achieve on our own—it’s a gift from God.

God doesn’t just stop at giving us a new heart. He promises to place His Spirit within us. His Spirit guides us, gives us strength, and helps us live in alignment with His purpose.

So how do we experience this transformation in our daily lives? First, through prayer—asking God to soften our hearts and help us see the world through His eyes. Next, by spending time in His Word, letting it renew our minds. And finally, through small acts of love and kindness. Each step opens our hearts more to His work in us.

This promise reminds us that no matter how far we’ve strayed or how heavy our hearts feel, God is always ready to renew us. He’s not asking for perfection; He’s asking for willingness.

Today, let’s hold onto this truth. Let’s invite God to make our hearts new. Imagine the freedom, joy, and peace that comes from having a heart shaped by His love.

Take a deep breath. Now ask yourself: What’s one way you can open your heart to God’s Spirit today?

Remember, you’re not alone in this journey. God is with you, and His promise is always faithful.
